Future Day
The aim of the National Future Career Day is to promote career and life planning for school children that fosters equal opportunity by providing new perspectives for boys and girls. Many students from the 5th to 7th grade accompany a friend or family member to their workplace or take part in exciting special projects. Many of our students joined a parent or family friend to work for the day, including the BBC arena, dance studio and Ascent Health services.
Friendsgiving
Families from across the school community came together to enjoy the Friendsgiving community lunch, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere of connection and camaraderie. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to share delicious homemade dishes, celebrate diversity, and strengthen bonds within the school. The event brought together families, teachers, and students, fostering a sense of belonging and unity among all who attended.
Advent Market and Wreath Workshop
The Advent Market offered a wonderful opportunity to support local businesses while finding the perfect gifts for loved ones. A diverse range of stalls showcased an array of handmade crafts, unique cards, personalized gifts, toys, skincare products, and beautiful jewelry. It was a festive and vibrant event where visitors could discover one-of-a-kind treasures, all while contributing to the community and getting into the holiday spirit.
Following the Advent Market, the wreath making workshop provided a hands-on opportunity to learn the art of creating a traditional Advent wreath. Participants were guided through the process of crafting their own beautiful wreaths, perfect for decorating their family homes during the holiday season. It was a delightful and creative way to embrace the festive spirit, with everyone leaving with a unique, handmade decoration to cherish throughout Advent.
