Dylan, what have you enjoyed doing this summer?
“Going for a walk next to the river. I like to sit and watch the river and the boats and take Jessie (his dog) for a walk. I also liked going on the boat. It was good because you could see all the things. I liked catching the train to get there and then the boat to get back because we went over the bridge and then under the bridge”.
We had a transport filled day where we caught the train to Diessenhofen and the boat back to Schaffhausen, before going to the Rheinfall via bus and train. We then returned to Schaffhausen on the Rhyfall Express.
“I like the splash boats at the Rheinfall because you get so close and you get splashed. I also like the noddy train because it’s bouncy and you get to see lots of things and there are no windows. It’s like the one at the zoo”.
What else do you like at the Rheinfall?
“The picture that I got to colour in when we had lunch”.
We visited the Restaurant Park at the Rheinfall for lunch.
What else have you enjoyed this summer?
“The pool. KSS”.
What do you like about KSS?
“The baby pool where you go through the tunnel with the lights flashing and then you go splash.
This is the indoor pool and the slide at KSS
“I also like the one outside with the trinkwasser because it’s funny that you can drink from it. And there is the fountain and the jellyfish one. I like the river that I can put my boat down”.
What else do you like?
“The bike park. It goes up and down and up and down and round. I like the huge slide because it’s like the lookout”.
This is the bike park in Beringen which we tried for the first time this summer.
Where else have we been?
“To see the fireflies. We had to stay up really late because fireflies only come out at night. We had to wait and then they all came out. Lots of lights and they came really close. One came to my nose”.
We went to the Waldfriedhof at the beginning of summer to see the fireflies.
Which is your favourite playground?
“The one where we had a burger at the river. I like the boat to play in and the roundabout”.
This is in the Lindli area of Schaffhausen and we ate at the Rhykantine.
Do you like living in Beringen?
“I do because there are lots of fun things”.
