Halloween event!

The annual Halloween event brought excitement and engagement to the entire community. The Parents’ Association went all out, preparing Halloween themed snacks and treats for every student, from Childcare to Secondary school, with mouthwatering goodies provided by the local bakery Bedabeck

The Early Years students kicked off the festivities by being the first to hit the dance floor at the disco. With smiles as bright as the disco lights, they twirled, sang, and laughed their way through an afternoon of lively tunes, including songs they had been practising all week and beloved Halloween hits. Meanwhile, the Toddlers beamed with excitement as they received their trick-or-treat bags, eyes wide with wonder at the surprises inside. The ELC students had an extra treat in store—they ventured out to visit the decked-out trunk-or-treaters, marveling at the creative decorations and eagerly collecting candy treasures.

The Primary students were next to gather at the disco, where they could get their faces painted, join in fun games, savour Halloween-themed snacks, and dance the day away with their friends. The energy ramped up as they ventured into the spooky alley, brilliantly set up by the Secondary student council, creating a thrilling, spine-tingling atmosphere. The grand finale was a trip to trunk-or-treat, where students gleefully collected candy and ended the day on a sweet, festive high.

“The spooky alley was awesome! There were lots of things to crawl through and we got to win some candy at the end”, said one student.

The Secondary students took a thrilling journey through the eerie and spine-chilling spooky alley before stepping into a lively disco packed with exciting activities and games. The energy didn’t stop there—throughout the week, the school buzzed with anticipation as students showcased their creativity with themed dress-up days. From the retro vibes of Decades Day to the glitz and glam of Red Carpet/Met Gala Day, the hilarity of Anything But a Backpack Day, and the spooky fun of Halloween and Group Day, each moment highlighted their school spirit. Teachers joined in the excitement, carefully judging the most outstanding costumes and awarding prizes to the standout participants.
