THE Family Hub
What is the Family Hub?
A friendly, welcoming meeting point where parents can come to connect with other parents, and feel secure that it is a child friendly environment.
A Hub where people can share their experiences and expertise, and develop their knowledge of the local area and services.
An inviting, engaging environment where children and adults can learn.
Our offers in the Family Hub
International playgroup
WEDNESDAYS 8:30 – 11:00
Come and join us on Wednesday mornings for a free playgroup. It is a chance for you to come and enjoy a coffee and chat with other parents, whilst your child has the chance to meet and play with other children. Each session ends with a music and movement session, led by one of our Early Years professionals.
Stay and play
MONDAYS 9:15 – 12:00
TUESDAYS 8:30 – 11:00
Meet and socialise with other families in the community. You can enjoy a coffee whilst your child has the opportunity to play and interact with others in a safe and stimulating environment. You can come and join us for the whole morning, arrange a meetup with friends, or just drop in for a change of scene.
PAUSE FOR PARENTS
MONDAYS 8:30 – 9:15
An opportunity for parents with school age children to meet and have a coffee and chat. Just for grown ups (babies welcome).
Clubs and EVENTS
PLANNED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
A range of clubs for adults to unwind, socialise, relax and maybe try something new. We will also have workshops and clubs for parents and children to join together.

Every afternoon your child can play, discover, stay active and make friends, all whilst being immersed in an English language environment.
FAMILY MOMENTS
PLANNED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
These will take place across the next academic year, including picnics, tours around Schaffhausen and movie nights.
