The International School of Schaffhausen is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill a unique role as a Coordinator for our Learning Support Programme. This position requires expertise in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), and the US High School Diploma. We are looking for a passionate and experienced educator to join our dynamic team at the International School of Schaffhausen for a short-term teaching position within our Primary Years Programme (PYP). This position will cover for a member of the Primary team who is on sick leave. There is potential for the role to be extended depending on the school’s needs and performance.

For our international Kindergarten and Nursery (age 4 months -6 years), we are looking for a caring and outgoing Nursery Educator and Kindergarten Educator who can also take on parenting and group leadership roles.

The international kindergarten is catering for the developmental needs of about 80 children from 4 months to 6 years. The language of communication in our international environment is English and German. 

Ideally, you have a few years of work experience and have completed training as a childcare specialist or an equivalent qualification. You speak either English or German as your main language or at a high level and are a reliable team player who is passionate about working with the little ones. Creativity, reliability and a sense of responsibility round off your profile.

The International School of Schaffhausen is a growing school in the Zurich North area, Switzerland. We are an IB-World School authorized for the PYP and Diploma Programme. We are seeking a qualified and experienced IB German Teacher for the mother tongue and the acquisition courses across the school (grades 1-12). For secondary school practitioners German mother tongue skills and an additional subject are considered advantages. For primary school practitioners, the ability to also teach older students in the secondary or the ability to also act as a class teacher in the PYP programme will be considered an advantage.
