Grade 10 Project Exhibition: Showcasing Creativity and Inquiry
The Grade 10 Project is a significant milestone in our students’ academic journey at ISSH. This independent, research-based project allows students to explore a topic of personal interest, develop essential skills such as critical thinking, time management, and communication, and demonstrate their learning through a final exhibition.
This month, our Grade 10 Project Exhibition provided a unique glimpse into the creativity, dedication, and diverse interests of our students. As one of the four key components of their capstone assessment, this showcase highlighted an inspiring range of projects across various disciplines, including:
- Culinary Arts, featuring the creation of original cookbooks, high-protein recipe collections, and the development of a locally sourced cereal.
- Fashion Design and Dressmaking, featuring innovative and self-made garments.
- Entrepreneurial Business Plans, where students developed and presented their own start-up ideas.
- Creative Writing, including short stories and comics that demonstrate storytelling skills.
- Performing Arts, with a special focus on ice-skating.
- Architectural Designs and Models, showcasing original structures and design concepts.
These are just a few examples of the impressive projects our students have created. The Grade 10 Project not only fosters academic and personal growth but also empowers students to take ownership of their learning and showcase their talents.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ creativity, dedication, and confidence in presenting their projects. Their passion for learning and innovation continues to inspire our community, and we can’t wait to see how they apply these experiences in the years to come.
