Welcome by the Head of School

Welcome to the boarding programme at the International School of Schaffhausen! We are thrilled to have you join us on your educational journey. Being part of our international community will provide you with a unique and enriching experience that will greatly impact your personal and academic growth.

During this programme, you will have the amazing opportunity to connect with fellow students from diverse backgrounds. Living in a multicultural community will foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. These interactions will broaden your horizons and cultivate a global mindset, which is increasingly valuable in our interconnected world.

Ebru Güver | Head of School

Welcome by the Head of Boarding

Dear Boarder,

Boarding at ISSH is a unique and extremely rewarding experience. Living together in a close community of widely diverse students and staff, each with their own individual backgrounds, cultures and personalities, is both challenging and life-changing. The interpersonal skills developed will become a cornerstone to your work and play, and the friendships and relationships built will last long beyond your school days. I encourage you to embrace this opportunity, to celebrate the diversity, and to live up to the inevitable responsibilities which come hand-in-hand with independence.
